Gran Via 28, the telephone store (photos and video)
This morning's presentation took place at Gran Via 28, the telephone store. The event was restricted to accredited press in advance, but as one chef has been there before ... I friar, seeing the results of the radical transformation of the telecommunications company that has undergone the first floor of its flagship "Edificio Telefónica .
The store is the biggest phone space and vanguard of the world, say in the press release that are distributed at the event. Gran Via 28, official name, consists of 3,000 square meters divided over 2 floors of thematic spaces: gaming, building automation, home, mobility, PDAs, Imagenio ... It is almost as spectacular to see how the Apple Store in London. But you can judge for yourselves, I took some pictures with the phone.
The keynote address was given by Javier Zorrilla, director of indirect channels of Telefonica Spain, who was then caught in flagrante playing with one of the Wiis that are on the lower floor, just before the remote covertly deliver an attendant and escabullese are among people to the cocktail area.
Among the more prominent, impressive or just curious, we find:
- Two televisions 3D
- A visual system bidi code recognition
- Personal Assistants purchase touchscreen and printer in each of the positions of mobile information store
- A zone-free products, technical assistance, advice or information services of Telefónica
- Interactive games with webcams for the public
- A house full home automation, controllable from the mobile (shutters, exhaust smoke, lights ...)
- Mirror touch with intelligent avatar
- Zone to load the mobile (cell phone delivery, you get a card and leave it charging. Cool, eh?)
- Giant touchscreen (see video below)
At the end of the visit, some of those present (including Ana Maria Ferrer, editor of the blog Estrendy) we come to do the obligatory question: What about the iPhone? The answer was that we have to wait until next Thursday at noon for prices, rates and other dtaos on the Apple phone.
