Summer School: Underwater Cultural Property and Heritage
Just make it publishes the notice of the summer courses of the Fundación General Universidad Complutense de Madrid (FGUCM). They represent a unique opportunity to broaden their knowledge, but one in particular I'd like to share with you (and to which I pointed out immediately before they run out of places): The International Protection of Cultural Property, in particular, underwater heritage.
This specialization offers the opportunity to learn from within the regulation of archaeological sites, legal protection against the plundering and looting, the rules relating to underwater heritage (treasures sunken warships!) And the mechanisms and legal action to protect cultural heritage and prevent illegal trafficking of cultural interest.
I see it very clearly: it is an extraordinary opportunity to specialize in a single area of international significance, where market competition is virtually nonexistent and the cases are multiplying exponentially.
The number of places is very limited and I have already registered, so it does not bother me communicate to you the notice.
The dates and times are: from 6 to 31 July 2009. Mornings from 9:00 to 14:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
The course costs 630 € requesting a tuition assistance "General". There are 1,000 general aid granted in strict order of application. And if, moreover, are from outside Madrid, you can welcome you to one of the 400 housing aid.
For students at the Complutense University, the course costs just 450 € requesting specific assistance and validated by 8 credits of the race.
Get the course website and the program in pdf.
Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with the organization of the course, but I know the teachers and ensure they are the best in quality and professional teaching in the area of intellectual property and civil law.
